- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Had the worst experience going into this branch today 6/7/2016....They made me go home and get unnecessary information like a second form of document that verified my address when I the address on my Drivers License was the address I was residing. They also required me to provide them my permanent resident card (you dont need a social security number or permanent resident card to open an account as foreigners open checking accounts all the time.) Also the banker was NOT informed or aware of any of the promotions they were running she had to contact the support line to relay the information. Manager was very rude and short when it came to explaining their company policies in which she had no idea on either. I called capital one bank spoke to one of their bankers and they let me know that if the address on my drivers license is current there NO need for a second document verifying address. So essentially Whitney bank just wasted an hour plus of my time today. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BANK TO ANYBODY, VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND MOST IMPORTANTLY I FELT I WAS BEING DISCRIMINATED, I ALREADY CONTACTED THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICES AND FILED COMPLAINT.By Pouria M, June 15, 2017
