- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I called to ask about the $7.50 of fees taken out of my account. I was told that this is the policy when your account reaches under $250. When I asked why that was the policy, the customer service rep asked a supervisor, and it was determined that there was "no way to figure that out". The ATM machine also ate my $20 bill because I took too long to grab the money, funny thing is, my account also lost $20 at the same time. When I asked for my money back, they said I needed to write a letter stating what happened. I also needed to write a letter when someone stole my identity and bought a bunch of shoes in Indiana. My friend at chase bank had a similar situation happen, and they literally refunded him immediately, no letter required. Whitney bank took weeks to issue a refund. If you're banking here, it's because you haven't gone over other options. I'll be switching soon.By Josh Howard, July 26, 2017
